Black-headed update

News from my trusty friend in Whitestone: of the Black-headed Gulls ring-read in the spring, down on t'quay, the Finnish-ringed bird was ringed at Espoo, as shown below in June 1997, whilst the colour-marked Danish bird was ringed in Copenhagen in April 1996 - age at ringing unknown at the moment. Hopefully the ring-readings made some ringer happy...!
